Poetry

Elsie "Della" Jacobs began writing poetry in 1999.  She thought she couldn't write a speech for a Deaconess meeting at her church so she wrote a poem instead.  Her fellow deaconesses loved it.  With the support of her family and friends, Elsie continued to write her poems.  Elsie wishes to inspire, encourage, and bless others with her written word.  

Besides writing poetry, Elsie loves to sew, embroider, knit, bowl, cook, bake, travel, attend church, and spend time with her grandchildren.
